Please let us know if you have any other questions and be sure to read more about us here: Users who take advantage of this option usually have a better experience, since they get the item they initially wanted as well as retain all their bids. By using the Buy it now option, you will get the item for retail price and all the bids you used in that auction will be returned to your bid balance. If you do not win the auction, you will see the Buy It Now button. If no new bids are placed and you are the final bidder in the auction, you win the auction at the final sales price. It's in this small window that someone else must decide if they will place a bid to outbid you. I'd be happy to explain how the Buy-It-Now option works.Įach bid you place takes away one of your bids from your balance and increases the price of the auction by 1 penny, then resetting the clock to 10 seconds. In fact, most auctions on DealDash are won with the BidBuddy. It will automatically place Bids for you within the last seconds of the auction. Sometimes auctions can last for longer durations, and this is why we have a tool called the BidBuddy which you can utilize to bid on the auctions even when you're not on your computer. We have seen $3,000 TVs or $2,200 Macbooks get sold for just a few bids, and many other similar deals are made on DealDash every day. That’s what makes it so exciting – there are no reserve prices regardless of the value of the item, and any bid can truly be the last one. Shipping on DealDash is always free, and the auction winner will only have to pay for the final auction price to claim the win.ĭealDash has no control of the duration of the auctions, and it is solely up to the bidders and their placed bids to determine when an auction ends. But unless it's something total crap, you almost certainly will not win.Įven if you avoid getting suckered into an auction early and refer to the minimum sell price from past history, you still usually get clipped at a price lower than what previously was the lowest sell price which in itself is suspect.īottom line. You will see the same scoopers showing up in EVERY auction you get into and you just can't compete with their buying power. I just got suckered into trying it again after staying away for 2+ years and it's gotten even worse. Much like the ticket brokers, you will find yourself battling with players with unlimited resources who probably end up just relisting on the same DealDash site or eBay at best. While *technically* not a scam, don't bother unless you have unlimited money and time to game the system because that's what happens. As a fellow software dev I can appreciate that. Kudos to DealDash on a brilliant and addictive product.
